Getting up early in the morning from your usual routine and gaining a new one can help you burn calories, according to research.

When people get up early and start the day early in the morning, they burn a lot more calories than those who sleep until 10 or later.

Research shows that getting up at 5 or 6 a.m. wakes up the body to the point that it is far more capable of overcoming the day, but at the same time the brain works better.
